Tiger Attack Victims - Nice Upstanding Citizens? - Maybe NOT

The younger of two brothers who survived a Christmas Day tiger attack at the San Francisco Zoo was arrested on suspicion of trying to steal two video game controllers from a San Leandro store, police said Friday.

He packed 2 Nintendo Wii controllers in his pants and tried to make a break for it..  there's a level of intelligence we don't see every day.  He was nailed by an undercover plain clothes security officer as Paul Dhaliwal made his way past the cash registers with his "gifts", but was uncooperative in the process of restraining him.

These kids track records aren't too rosy:

On Sept. 7, 2007, both men (men?) were charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest while Paul Dhaliwal was also charged with misdemeanor battery on a police officer in that same incident.

Paul Dhaliwal was cited Dec. 21 for allegedly having 1.8 grams of pot in his pocket while in the parking lot of a Milpitas hotel.

Keeping that track record alive, he had been placed on probation three days before that incident after pleading no contest to felony reckless driving and other charges for leading police on a 140 mph chase on April 28.

LOL - I'm sure these are all mistaken situations.  I think their lawyer has a tough uphill battle here or they need some serious spin doctors.
