Historical Weather, Without Giving Up Your Info

I just discovered that it was 68 degrees, 0% precipitation, and the wind was 12 MPH from the south when and where I was born. Later that day at my birth/hatch cithy, it got up to 83 degrees as the high and it got down to 63 degrees that night.

I had a moment of curiosity about that because when looking for the "weather outside" I was directed to a website through a sponsored referral link to find out what the weather was like when/where I was born at weather.sumofus.org. BUT they wanted too much of my own personal information for me to want to continue.

To be honest I'm not sure what providing my name, zip code and town of where I live is pertinent. The site claimed they needed to verify I was over 18 for getting historical weather information, so I bailed on that shady looking website. Seriously?

But then in my frustration, I punched in an inquiry to Google asking what was the weather like on my birthday in my birth location.

Low and behold, it seems that I did not need to prove I am over 18 to get that information because I found that Weather Underground had the data I was looking for.

So eff you weather.sumofus...

You can go to https://www.wunderground.com/history/ and start filling out your data.

It's as simple as that. Thought I'd toss it out there.
