Today we're chatting about more hoverboards that are overheating and exploding, catching on fire, causing damage, etc.. I mean, come on, are we still buying these? We also have more pleas for folks to take a look at their IKEA dressers. They have tipped and killed children. And Lumber Liquidators is discontinuing selling a certain flooring due to some chemical toxicology concerns.

Self-Balancing Scooters/Hoverboards Recalled by 10 Firms Due to Fire Hazard

The lithium-ion battery packs in the self-balancing scooters/hoverboards can overheat, posing a risk of the products smoking, catching fire and/or exploding.

There have been at least 99 incidents reports of the battery packs in self-balancing scooters/hoverboards overheating, sparking, smoking, catching fire and/or exploding including reports of burn injuries and property damage.

Remedy:  Refund, Repair, Replace
